DeleteI lucked up on this scarf on Pinterest, and I am running to Michael's in the morning!! I have been looking for this very thing!! Going to make one for myself and my daughter! Thank you!!

DeleteI love this hooded scarf and is just what I need. I walk/run after work at the track and it's pretty cold out so I have been trying to follow your instructions and I don't think I am doing it correctly because the count is not right.
ReplyDeleteIn row 3 you gave the instructions to sc in next 3 scs* 13 times. So the way I understood it is that to do 2 scs, 1 FPDC, 1 sc, 1 FPDC, 3 scs and do that 13 times, but that does not come out correctly with the count. I re-read the instructions several times and still don't understand it any different, help pls
Sorry it's taken me so long to reply. You do everything between the 2 asterisks (*) 13 times. So each time you get to sc in next 3 scs you go back to the beginning FPDC.
Delete*FPDC around post of next corresponding sc 2 rows below the row you are on (Row 1), sk sc behind FPDC, sc in next sc, FPDC around post of next corresponding sc 2 rows below the row you are on, sk sc behind FPDC, sc in next 3 scs* 13 times
I'm making this for my daughter. I'm stuck on 12- 36 to crochet this 4 times do you do row 4 for # 36? 37-42 would you do row 5 for 37? I'm kinda confused.
ReplyDeleteGo back to row 4 and do it through row 11, then repeat that 2 more times, for a total of 3 times. After you have done that go back and do rows 4 through 9 again. Then at the very end go back and do row 6 again.
DeleteThat's what I thought. SO maybe the numbering in the pattern is off. I get it now. THank you.
